track record

hospital main entrance retail

Alan initiated and very successfully delivered hospital main entrance retail projects at St James Hospital, Leeds, York District Hospital and at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. Involving innovative architecture and business planning these projects were funded in their entirety by the private sector. The hospitals were then paid a guaranteed ground rent in the course of a 25 year lease and at the end of this term ownership reverted back to The NHS. Fantastic new entrances were created on a win/win basis.

He also directed the retail tenancy letting process, which produced never less than 75% blue-chip occupancy.

Alan creates bespoke consortia to deliver large, community regenerative housing projects. His interest is to facilitate innovative and cost effective collaborations to disrupt the perception that developers are greedy by helping to drive the third sector, as a priority. HH are design led and determined to involve cutting-edge, eco architecture in projects to benefit communities in the long-term, both in terms of easthetic impact and ultimate capital value.

Alan recently curated a bespoke consortium to purchase a community building in Hastings, which will become a mixed-use, social housing, community retail and arts facility.

He curated a specliast team to purchase a large NHS site in Manchester which will be an innovative, community regenerative project, involving social/elderly residential, afflordable housing, healthcare and retail.

These contracts will close imminently.
